A few months back we talked about the latest REVOLUTION sweeping through the country (Ghana) like wild fire. That is the e-Money revolution. Well, we have set up all the wholesalers as mentioned in the previous blog.

All these use electronic money.

WHY SCRATCH CARDS NEED TO BE REPLACED.
1. Scratch cards are not economically friendly:
It costs money to make and print those cards yet after scratching, we throw them away. Can you imagine the number of scratch cards only you have thrown away multiplied by 20 million Ghanaians?
2. Scratch cards are not environmentally friendly:
We cut down trees to make all the paper that is used to make the cards. That is a lot of trees cut down.
In addition, we litter the streets and the general environment when we throw away all those scratch cards from over 20 million Ghanaians.
3. Scratch cards may not be friendly to health:
The debate is still on-going whether scratch cards cause cancer or not. It has been researched and preliminary results seem to indicate that the material used in covering the numbers on the scratch cards is carcinogenous. Whether it is true or not, isn't it better to be safe than sorry?
